Peter has over 40 years of extensive experience representing lenders, investors, creditors, debtors and Trustees in bankruptcy, receiverships, workouts, general insolvency related matters and commercial litigation. He regularly serves, by Rhode Island Superior Court appointment, as Receiver and Examiner for insolvent corporations and in commercial disputes. He is also counsel to several individuals and Rhode Island corporations and is responsible for handling their ordinary course business issues.

His memberships include the American Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and he is a fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation.

Peter is admitted to practice law in the State and District Courts of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and is a member of the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

He has received the highest AV peer-rating by Martindale-Hubbell and since 2007 has been elected as a “Super Lawyer” in bankruptcy and creditor/debtor’s rights based on a peer review survey.

Peter is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
